Maine's new Home Energy Loan Program (HELP) allows a qualified homeowner (up to 115% of the area median
income) to obtain a 3.95% loan to cover the cost of qualifying energy improvements - up to $30,000 for a term of 15 years. The cost of the Home Performance Assessment (Energy Audit) and Final Inspections can be included in the loan.
